The Minister of International Relations, Hon. Dr. Phenyo Butale, together with his African counterparts, paid a courtesy call on the President of the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Lee Jae Myung, on the margins of the Korea–Africa Ministers’ Meeting held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from 1–2 June 2026.

The courtesy call provided an opportunity to celebrate and reaffirm the strong bilateral relations between the Republic of Korea and African countries, as well as to exchange views on issues of mutual interest. The engagement further strengthened cooperation and partnership between Korea and the African continent.
